My husband and I eloped 2 months ago and he had been talking about this cake since we started planning our backyard reception. The hours are a little tricky since they don't open till 10am, closed on Mondays and run out for reasons you'll discover when you have your first bite. The planning to snag a fresh strawberry cake will all be worth it when you enjoy the beautifully light whipped frosting, perfectly fresh strawberries and incredibly moist light cake. It's not too sweet, but sweet enough and light as can be. Enjoy!”

    Oh my, oh my, oh my! My future brother in law lives in Columbus and got a birthday cake for my fiancé while we were in town visiting. He raves about this cake and now that I've tried it, I know why he does! This cake is a yellow sponge cake with whipped cream icing and a fresh strawberry and whipped cream icing filling. It's decorated with a simple circle of strawberry and kiwi slices. But oh em gee... this cake is so light and airy, and delicious! If I would have been left alone with this cake, I could probably eat all of it. I didn't get a chance to actually go to the storefront, but I would love to next time I'm in town.

Our bakery in Gahanna, OH, offers a variety of delicious baked goods — including bread, cookies, cheesecakes, steamed buns, and other sweets. With a minimum of 48 hours of advanced notice, we'd be happy to cater an event or bake something special for your loved ones.
